However, limited range and cost concerns have hindered their widespread adoption and ability to compete with motorized vehicles.

One of our latest breakthroughs is “Dyot,” our docked bike-sharing system. By incorporating innovations in battery technology, software, and powertrain, we have managed to reduce capex costs by over 50%, enabling a hyper-scale system for first/last-mile connectivity. This docked system offers simplified operations through integrated charging in the dock and an always-on connected solution.

Efficiency is crucial, especially with limited resources. Our target is to achieve over 150 Whr/km for urban travel and reduce it to less than 50 Wh/km. Achieving this goal not only encourages the migration to more efficient modes of transport but also ensures that these modes are optimized for maximum efficiency. To accomplish this, we have developed our proprietary algorithm, “JIVA,” which uses low-cost sensors (such as cadence and IMU) onboard e-bikes to modulate the torque based on riding conditions. The result is a remarkable 15% improvement in range without a substantial increase in costs.
